Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab
Online Quran classes in Rahim Yar Khan
Private live Quran lessons for families in Rahim Yar Khan, Sadiqabad, Khanpur and the villages around them, at any hour of the day or night.
Quran lessons at home across Rahim Yar Khan district
Rahim Yar Khan sits at the southern tip of Punjab, where the province meets Sindh and the green canal lands give way to the sands of Cholistan. The district is large. Sadiqabad, Khanpur, Liaquatpur and dozens of villages along the canals are home to families who want their children to read the Quran correctly, but a trained teacher is not always nearby, and the one who is may only come when it suits him. Online Quran classes bring a qualified teacher to your home over a live video call, at the hour you choose, wherever in the district you live.
Every class at OQC.com.pk is one-to-one. Your child is the only student in the lesson, so the teacher hears every letter, corrects mistakes on the spot and moves at a pace that suits your child, not a whole group.
Built around harvests, mills and long working days
Life in Rahim Yar Khan follows the farming year. Cotton picking, wheat harvest and the sugar-cane crushing season bring weeks when parents work long or unusual hours, whether in the fields, at a mill or in a shop that stays open late. A tutor with fixed hours does not fit that rhythm. Online lessons do, because we teach around the clock.
- Morning after Fajr: for families who start work early.
- After school: the most popular slot for children.
- After Isha: when the day's work is finished and the house is calm.
- Late night or very early: for households on shifts during the busy season.
You choose the days as well: Monday to Friday, weekends only, three days a week or any other pattern. If the season changes your routine, tell our team and the lesson moves with you.
Fathers in the Gulf, children at home
Many families in Rahim Yar Khan have a father, brother or uncle working in the UAE, Saudi Arabia or elsewhere in the Gulf. Often they are the ones who most want the children to learn the Quran properly, yet they are the furthest away. With online lessons, the whole family can stay involved. Relatives abroad can message the same WhatsApp number to ask how the children are progressing, and they can join a lesson from their phone if the family wishes. Because the UAE is only one hour behind Pakistan and Saudi Arabia two hours behind, an evening lesson at home usually falls in the evening for them too. If a relative abroad wants lessons of their own, our pages on the UAE and Saudi Arabia explain how that works.
What happens in a lesson
Teacher and student both keep their video on and can see each other at the side of the screen. The teacher screen-shares the page being studied, a lesson from the Noorani Qaida or a page of the Quran, and points to the word to be read. The student reads aloud from that shared page on a phone, tablet or laptop, and the teacher corrects pronunciation, joining and Tajweed straight away. On the Monday to Friday plan each lesson lasts 30 minutes. Our how it works page explains the setup step by step.
Parents are welcome to sit nearby and listen. It is the simplest way to see how your child is getting on.
Courses for every level
- Noorani Qaida: letters, sounds and joining, for complete beginners.
- Nazra Quran: fluent, accurate reading from the Mushaf.
- Tajweed: the rules of recitation, practised verse by verse.
- Hifz: memorising selected surahs or the whole Quran.
- Islamic Studies: salah, duas, kalimas and daily basics for children.
In the free trial the teacher listens to the student read, or checks which letters they already know, and recommends where to begin. Compare the options on the courses page.
Any hour
We teach 24/7, so busy seasons and shifts are easy to work around.

For children, adults and women
Most families start with their children; see online Quran classes for kids. Parents often follow, to finish the Nazra they left as children or to correct their recitation privately; read about Quran classes for adults. Girls and women can ask for a female Quran teacher, and our page on online Quran classes for ladies explains how women fit lessons around home and work.
Heat, power and internet
Summers in Rahim Yar Khan are long and very hot, so many families prefer lessons early in the morning or late in the evening when the house is cooler. All you need is a phone, tablet or laptop with a camera and a working connection. In villages where home internet is weak, a phone on mobile data is usually enough for a clear video lesson. Charge the device before class in case of load-shedding, and if a lesson is interrupted, message our team on WhatsApp and we will help you rearrange it.
The fee
Our standard plan is PKR 7,500 a month per student on the Monday to Friday plan, which gives 20 one-to-one 30-minute live classes a month, Monday to Friday. It is the same for every course and for a female or male teacher. If you want weekends only, fewer days or longer lessons, the fee is discussed directly with our team. See the fees page for details.

Questions from families in Rahim Yar Khan
Do you teach students outside Rahim Yar Khan city?
Yes. Lessons are live video calls, so students in Rahim Yar Khan, Sadiqabad, Khanpur, Liaquatpur, Kot Samaba, Zahir Pir and the villages towards Cholistan all learn in exactly the same way.
Our household works shifts in the crushing and harvest season. Can the lesson time move?
Yes. We teach 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Message our team on WhatsApp with the new hour that suits you during the busy months, and again when you want to go back to the old time.
The children's father works in the UAE. Can he follow the lessons?
Yes. He can message the same WhatsApp number as you, ask our team about progress, and even join a lesson from his phone if the family wants. The UAE is one hour behind Pakistan, so an evening lesson in Rahim Yar Khan is still evening in the Gulf.
Can the teacher explain in Saraiki or Urdu?
Tell us which language the student is most comfortable with when you request the trial. Our team takes your preference into account when arranging the teacher.
