For women

Online Quran classes for ladies

Private Quran lessons for women with a female teacher, from home, at the hour that suits your day.

Learning the Quran as a woman, on your own terms

Many women want to learn to read the Quran properly, improve their Tajweed or memorise surahs, but find it hard to make time. Home, children, work and family duties fill the day, and travelling to a class at a fixed hour is not always possible or comfortable. Online Quran classes for ladies make it simple: a female teacher, a private lesson at home, and a time that you choose.

This page is written for adult women: mothers, working women, new reverts, grandmothers and young women who have finished school. If you are looking for a female teacher mainly for your children, our female Quran teacher page covers that in detail.

Private, one-to-one and with a female teacher

Every lesson is one-to-one: only you and your teacher. You can ask any question, repeat a line as many times as you need, and make mistakes without anyone else listening. Women who stopped learning as children often tell us that this privacy is what finally lets them start again.

Lessons are live video classes. Your teacher shares her screen with the Quran or Qaida page, points to each word, and listens as you read. She corrects pronunciation and Tajweed as you go and gives you a little revision for next time.

Lessons that fit a woman's day

We teach 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and you pick the days. Some times that work well:

  • Mid-morning, once the children have left for school.
  • Early afternoon, during a quiet hour at home or a break at work.
  • Late evening, after the household has settled for the night.
  • Weekends only, if weekdays are simply too full.

If your routine changes, for example during Ramadan, school holidays or after a new baby, speak to our team and we will help adjust your schedule.

What you can learn

  • Read from the beginning with Noorani Qaida, even if you have never read Arabic.
  • Read fluently from the Mushaf with Nazra Quran.
  • Beautify your recitation with Tajweed.
  • Memorise the surahs you recite in salah, or more, with Hifz.

Mothers who learn often find they can then help their own children with Qaida and revision. If you want lessons for your children too, see online Quran classes for kids; for general adult lessons, see Quran classes for adults.

Starting again as an adult

Some women learned Qaida as children but stopped before reading the Quran fluently. Others learned to read but were never taught Tajweed, or have forgotten much of what they once knew. Whatever your starting point, there is nothing to be shy about. In the free trial your teacher simply listens to you read, or helps you with the first letters, and suggests a sensible place to begin.

Progress in one-to-one lessons comes from small, regular steps. A short lesson on the days you choose, with a few minutes of revision in between, builds confidence quickly. Many women like to aim for something concrete: reading a page from the Mushaf without stopping, correcting the surahs they recite in salah, or completing the Quran in Ramadan. Tell your teacher your goal and she will shape the lessons around it.

The standard fee is PKR 7,500 a month per student on the Monday to Friday plan, which gives 20 one-to-one 30-minute live classes a month, Monday to Friday. Questions from sisters

Will my teacher be a woman?

If you ask for a female teacher, yes. Female teachers are available on every course; just choose Female teacher when you request the free trial.

Do I need to turn on my camera?

Talk to our team about what you are comfortable with. The teacher shares the Quran page on screen, and what matters most is that she can clearly hear you recite.

I am an adult and cannot read Arabic at all. Is that okay?

Completely. Many women start from the very first letter with Noorani Qaida. Lessons are private, so you can go at your own pace without feeling rushed.

Can I learn at night after the children are asleep?

Yes. We teach 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and you choose the days and the time.

Can my daughter and I both learn?

Yes. Each of you has your own one-to-one lesson, and they can be booked one after the other. Ask our team about the fee for more than one student.

What is the fee?

The Monday to Friday plan is PKR 7,500 a month per student for 20 one-to-one 30-minute live classes a month, Monday to Friday. Fees for other schedules are discussed with our team.
