Quran lessons at home for families in Multan

Multan has a deep connection with Quran learning, and many families here want their children to read the Quran properly and with good Tajweed. What often gets in the way is the practical side: a teacher who can come at a fixed time every day, a class that matches the child's level, and the travel in between, especially in the long hot months. Online Quran classes take care of all three. Your teacher joins on a live video call at the hour you choose, and your child learns from home.

Lessons at OQC.com.pk are always one-to-one. There is one student and one teacher, for the whole lesson. The teacher hears every letter the student reads and corrects mistakes immediately, which is how Quran reading has always been passed on: by listening, reciting and being corrected.

Learning through the seasons

Daily life in Multan changes with the weather. In summer many families wake early and stay indoors in the afternoon heat; in winter the evenings are longer and busier. Because we teach 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, your lesson time can follow your season rather than fighting it.

  • Summer mornings: a lesson soon after Fajr, before the day heats up.
  • Afternoon rest hours: a quiet slot indoors while the streets are empty.
  • Winter evenings: after Maghrib, when the family is home together.
  • School holidays: extra days or an earlier time to make the most of the break.

When your routine changes, just message our team. Since the student picks the days and time, adjusting is simple.

Inside an online lesson

Teacher and student both have their video on, so they can see each other at the side of the screen. In the middle is the page being studied, which the teacher screen-shares: a lesson of the Noorani Qaida or a page of the Quran. The teacher points to the exact word, the student reads it from the shared page on a phone, tablet or laptop, and the teacher corrects pronunciation, joining and Tajweed there and then. Each lesson ends with a short piece of revision.

You do not need special equipment: a device with a camera, a stable internet connection and a quiet place are enough. Headphones help in a busy house. Full details are on how it works.

Choose a course

The free trial lesson lets the teacher hear where the student stands and recommend a starting point:

  • Noorani Qaida: letters, sounds and joining, for complete beginners.
  • Nazra Quran: fluent, accurate reading from the Mushaf.
  • Tajweed: the rules of recitation, practised verse by verse.
  • Hifz: memorising selected surahs or the whole Quran.
  • Islamic Studies: salah, duas, kalimas and daily basics for children.

Many children in Multan start with Qaida and move on to Nazra and then Tajweed, while some go on to Hifz. You can see all options on the courses page.

Why one-to-one beats a crowded class

In a group class, a teacher can only listen to each child for a few minutes. Quiet children in particular can go weeks with the same mistake in a letter or a vowel. In a private online lesson, the student reads for most of the lesson and the teacher listens to every line. Parents can sit in the same room, see the shared page and follow progress lesson by lesson, which makes it easy to see whether the time is being well used.
