Private Quran lessons at home in Peshawar

For many families in Peshawar and across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a daily Quran lesson is a non-negotiable part of a child's upbringing. Yet finding the right teacher is not always simple. A local class may be crowded, the timing may clash with school or work, and for daughters and mothers many families prefer to learn privately at home. Online Quran classes answer all of these needs at once: a dedicated teacher, a private lesson in your own home, and a time chosen by you.

At OQC.com.pk every class is one-to-one and live. One teacher sits with one student for the whole lesson, listening to every word and correcting it on the spot. There are no recordings to watch alone and no group to keep up with.

Privacy and female teachers

Many households in Peshawar value privacy, especially for women and girls. With online lessons, nobody has to leave home and no visitor has to come in. Female teachers are available on every course, so girls, young children and women can learn with a woman. Parents can sit nearby during a child's lesson and see exactly what is being taught. Adult women who want lessons for themselves can read our page on online Quran classes for ladies, and families looking for a woman to teach their children can see female Quran teacher.

How the online lesson works

Teacher and student are both on video, visible to each other at the side of the screen. The teacher screen-shares the page being studied, a lesson of the Noorani Qaida or a page of the Quran, and points to each word. The student reads from the shared page on a phone, tablet or laptop, and the teacher corrects pronunciation, joining and Tajweed straight away. Each lesson ends with revision for next time.

Timings around school, work and the weather

We teach 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and the student picks the days. Peshawar families often choose a lesson soon after Fajr, an after-school slot before tuition, or an evening lesson after Maghrib or Isha when a parent is home. In winter, when the evenings close in early, many prefer an earlier afternoon slot. If your power supply is unreliable at certain hours, choose a time when it is usually steady; a phone on mobile data works as a backup.

Courses

  • Noorani Qaida: letters, sounds and joining, for complete beginners.
  • Nazra Quran: fluent, accurate reading from the Mushaf.
  • Tajweed: the rules of recitation, practised verse by verse.
  • Hifz: memorising selected surahs or the whole Quran.
  • Islamic Studies: salah, duas, kalimas and daily basics for children.

The teacher recommends a starting point during the free trial lesson. All options are on the courses page.
