Online Quran classes in the UAE

Live one-to-one Quran lessons for families in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and every emirate, just one hour behind Pakistan.

Quran lessons for Pakistani families in the Emirates

Many Pakistani families in the UAE live busy lives: long working days, school timings that differ from home, weekend activities and, for many parents, rotating shifts. Children may attend Islamic education at school, but parents often want more: daily reading practice, correct Tajweed and a teacher who knows exactly where their child is. One-to-one online Quran classes give your child that personal attention at home, at a UAE time you choose.

OQC.com.pk is based in Pakistan and teaches students worldwide. Lessons are live and one-to-one, so your child in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or anywhere else in the Emirates has their own teacher for the whole lesson. For other countries, see Quran classes for overseas Pakistanis.

Only one hour apart

The UAE is just 1 hour behind Pakistan, and neither country uses daylight saving time, so the gap never changes. That makes scheduling easy. We teach 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and the student picks the days, so you name a time in UAE time and we arrange a teacher who is free then.

  • After school: once lunch and homework are done, before evening activities.
  • After Maghrib or Isha: when parents are home from work.
  • Weekend mornings: for families whose weekdays are too full.
  • Late night or early morning: for parents on shift work who want lessons of their own.

What happens in a lesson

Teacher and student both have their video on and can see each other at the side of the screen. The teacher screen-shares the page being studied, a lesson of the Noorani Qaida or a page of the Quran, and points to each word. The student reads from the shared page on a laptop, tablet or phone, and the teacher corrects pronunciation, joining and Tajweed as they go. Each lesson ends with revision to practise.

A device with a camera, a stable internet connection and a quiet room are all you need. Our how it works page has the details.

Courses from Qaida to Hifz

  • Noorani Qaida: letters, sounds and joining, for complete beginners.
  • Nazra Quran: fluent, accurate reading from the Mushaf.
  • Tajweed: the rules of recitation, practised verse by verse.
  • Hifz: memorising selected surahs or the whole Quran.
  • Islamic Studies: salah, duas, kalimas and daily basics for children.

Children who already study Arabic or Islamic education at school often progress quickly once they have a teacher listening closely to their reading. The free trial lets the teacher place your child at the right level. See all courses on the courses page.

Female teachers

Available for girls, little ones and mothers.

For children, mothers and fathers

Most families begin with their children; read about online Quran classes for kids. Fathers who work long hours can take their own lessons late at night or early in the morning; see Quran classes for adults. Mothers can learn with a female Quran teacher while the children are at school; our page on online Quran classes for ladies explains how.

Keeping lessons steady through summer and Ramadan

Many UAE families spend the long summer break in Pakistan. Lessons can continue from there, just 1 hour later on the clock, and pick up again when you return. During Ramadan, when school and office hours change, tell our team and we will help move your lesson to a better time. A steady routine through these changes is what keeps a child's reading improving.
