Online Quran classes in Kuwait

Private live Quran lessons for Pakistani families in Kuwait: mornings for mothers, back-to-back lessons for children, and steady Hifz revision.

Quran lessons for Pakistani households in Kuwait

Pakistani families in Kuwait live in Abbasiya, Farwaniya, Hawally, Salmiya, Fahaheel, Mangaf, Jahra and many other areas. In a typical home, the father works long hours, the children are at school until the afternoon and the mother runs the house. Evenings are short and crowded with homework, meals and family. Parents want their children to read the Quran properly, and many mothers want to improve their own recitation as well, but arranging a teacher who comes reliably every day is difficult. One-to-one online Quran classes solve that by bringing a qualified teacher to your home over a live video call.

OQC.com.pk teaches from Pakistan to students worldwide. Every lesson is private and every student has their own plan. Families elsewhere in the Gulf can read our pages for Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar and Oman.

A morning lesson for mothers

For many mothers in Kuwait, the quietest part of the day is the morning, after the children leave for school. That is the perfect time for their own lesson. With a female Quran teacher on the screen, a mother can finish the Nazra she started as a girl, learn Tajweed for the first time, or memorise the surahs she wants to recite in salah, in complete privacy and without leaving home. Because we teach 24 hours a day, the lesson can be at 8 am or 11 am Kuwait time, whatever suits the household.

Mothers who learn often become the best support for their children's lessons. When you know how a letter should sound, it is much easier to help a child practise between classes. Our page on online Quran classes for ladies has more on how women fit lessons into their day.

Several children, one organised evening

In a home with three or four children, after-school time disappears quickly. Online lessons help because nobody has to be driven anywhere. Each child has their own one-to-one lesson, and our team can arrange them one after another, for example the youngest on the Noorani Qaida straight after school, the middle child reading Nazra after Asr, and the eldest working on Tajweed or Hifz after Maghrib. Each child moves at their own pace, with no comparing in front of brothers and sisters.

Hifz revision through exams and holidays

Children doing Hifz face a particular challenge: what is memorised must be revised constantly, or it slips. School exams, long summer trips and Ramadan all disrupt the routine. A one-to-one teacher plans revision around these: lighter new lessons and more revision before exams, and lessons that continue from Pakistan during the summer, two hours later on the clock. Tell our team about your child's school calendar and the teacher will plan with it in mind.

Two hours behind Pakistan, all year

Kuwait is 2 hours behind Pakistan throughout the year, and neither country uses daylight saving time. We teach 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so any time you choose in Kuwait is an ordinary teaching hour for us.

  • Morning: mothers' and adults' lessons while the children are at school.
  • After school: young children, before they get tired.
  • After Maghrib or Isha: older children and fathers once they are home.
  • Friday or Saturday: for families who prefer weekend lessons.

How a lesson works

Teacher and student both keep their video on and see each other at the side of the screen. The teacher screen-shares the page being studied and points to the word to be read. The student reads aloud from the shared page on a phone, tablet or laptop, and the teacher corrects pronunciation and Tajweed straight away. On the Monday to Friday plan each lesson is 30 minutes. See how it works for the full setup.
