Online Quran classes in Dera Ghazi Khan

Private live Quran lessons at home for families across D.G. Khan division, on a mobile phone if that is all you have, with female teachers for girls.

A qualified Quran teacher, wherever you live in D.G. Khan

Dera Ghazi Khan division stretches from the banks of the Indus to the Koh-e-Suleman mountains, taking in Taunsa, Kot Chutta, Choti and hundreds of villages and settlements in between. For many families here the nearest trained Quran teacher is a long way off, and sending daughters out for lessons every day is not something every household is comfortable with. Online Quran classes bring the teacher into your home instead. All it takes is a phone and a connection.

Every lesson at OQC.com.pk is one-to-one: one teacher, one student, for the whole lesson. Your child is never lost in a crowded class and never waits for a turn.

Girls learning safely at home

Parents in Dera Ghazi Khan often tell us that their biggest concern is their daughters. They want them to read the Quran properly, but they would rather they did not travel to a teacher's house or sit with boys in a mixed class. Online lessons answer that directly.

  • Female teachers: available on every course, for girls, young children and women.
  • At home: your daughter never leaves the house for a lesson.
  • Parents present: a mother or father can sit beside her throughout.
  • Your hours: we teach 24/7, so lessons fit around school and housework.

Read more on our page about a female Quran teacher, or about online Quran classes for ladies if the mother would also like to learn.

Learning on a mobile phone: a simple setup

Most families here start with nothing more than a smartphone, and that is fine. A few small steps make the lesson much clearer:

  • Prop the phone up on a stand or a pile of books so the student's hands are free and the camera shows their face.
  • Turn it sideways so the shared Quran page appears larger on the screen.
  • Find the best signal in the house a few minutes before class; near a window or in the courtyard often works best.
  • Charge it fully in case of load-shedding, and keep the volume up so the teacher's recitation is clear.
  • Choose a quiet corner away from the television and younger children.

If the connection drops, simply rejoin. If a lesson is lost, message our team on WhatsApp and we will help rearrange it.

What happens in a lesson

Teacher and student both keep their video on and can see each other at the side of the screen. The teacher screen-shares the page being studied, a lesson from the Noorani Qaida or a page of the Quran, and points to each word. The student reads aloud from that shared page, and the teacher corrects pronunciation, joining and Tajweed straight away. Each lesson on the Monday to Friday plan is 30 minutes. See how it works for the full picture.

Courses

  • Noorani Qaida: letters, sounds and joining, for complete beginners.
  • Nazra Quran: fluent, accurate reading from the Mushaf.
  • Tajweed: the rules of recitation, practised verse by verse.
  • Hifz: memorising selected surahs or the whole Quran.
  • Islamic Studies: salah, duas, kalimas and daily basics for children.

In the free trial the teacher checks your child's level and suggests where to begin. See the courses page.
