Online Quran classes in Larkana

Private live Quran lessons for families in Larkana and upper Sindh, with careful one-to-one attention to every letter and sound.

Online Quran classes for families in Larkana

Larkana lies on the right bank of the Indus in upper Sindh, surrounded by rice and guava lands and the towns of Ratodero, Dokri, Naudero, Kambar and Shahdadkot. Families here value religious learning, and many children attend Sindhi-medium or English-medium schools during the day. What parents often struggle to find is a qualified teacher who can give their child personal attention at a convenient hour. Online one-to-one Quran classes bring that teacher to your home over a live video call.

At OQC.com.pk every lesson is one-to-one. One teacher listens to one student, so pronunciation is checked word by word and the lesson moves at your child's pace.

From Sindhi letters to Quranic Arabic

Children in Larkana who already read Sindhi have a head start. The Sindhi script is based on the Arabic alphabet, so many letter shapes look familiar. That familiarity is useful, but it can also hide small mistakes. Several Arabic letters are pronounced differently in the Quran from how a child says them in everyday speech, and some sounds that look similar on the page come from different parts of the mouth and throat. If those habits are not corrected early, they become hard to change later.

This is where a one-to-one teacher makes the difference.

  • Letter by letter: the teacher checks each sound in the Noorani Qaida, including the throat letters and the heavy letters.
  • Similar shapes, different sounds: letters that look alike are practised side by side until the child can hear and say the difference.
  • Harakat and joining: short and long vowels, sukoon and shaddah are drilled until reading flows.
  • Tajweed from the beginning: good habits are built in from the first lessons, not added later.

Children who already read the Quran but were taught quickly can start directly with the Tajweed course or the Nazra Quran course; the teacher decides in the free trial.

Timings that suit upper Sindh

Larkana's summers are among the hottest in the country, and many families prefer to keep children indoors in the afternoons. We teach 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so the lesson can sit early in the morning, after Asr, after Maghrib or late at night. You choose the days too: Monday to Friday, weekends, or any pattern that suits your household. Several children can take lessons back to back on the same device.

What happens in a lesson

Teacher and student both keep their video on and see each other at the side of the screen. The teacher screen-shares the page being studied and points to the word to be read. The student reads aloud from the shared page on a phone, tablet or laptop, and the teacher corrects the sound immediately. Each lesson on the Monday to Friday plan is 30 minutes. The how it works page explains the setup.

Courses

  • Noorani Qaida: letters, sounds and joining, for complete beginners.
  • Nazra Quran: fluent, accurate reading from the Mushaf.
  • Tajweed: the rules of recitation, practised verse by verse.
  • Hifz: memorising selected surahs or the whole Quran.
  • Islamic Studies: salah, duas, kalimas and daily basics for children.

Questions from families in Larkana

Which areas around Larkana do you teach?

All of them, because lessons are online. Students in Larkana, Ratodero, Dokri, Kambar, Shahdadkot, Naudero and the villages along the canals learn in exactly the same way.

My child reads Sindhi well. Does that help with the Quran?

It helps with recognising many letter shapes, because Sindhi is written in a script based on Arabic. But Quranic Arabic has its own sounds and rules, so the teacher still teaches each letter's correct pronunciation from the start.

Can the teacher explain in Sindhi?

Tell us which language the student is most comfortable with when you request the trial. Our team takes your preference into account when arranging the teacher.

What is the fee?

The Monday to Friday plan is PKR 7,500 a month per student for 20 one-to-one 30-minute live classes. The fee for any other schedule is discussed with our team.

Are female teachers available?

Yes. Female teachers are available on every course for girls, young children and women.

Is the first lesson free?

Yes. The trial lesson is free, with nothing to pay and nothing to sign.
