Lessons at cooler, quieter hours

Because we teach 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the time of the lesson is your choice. In Hyderabad's long summer many families move study time to the evening and night, once the heat has eased and the house is calm. In winter a late-afternoon slot after school may suit better. You can also choose the days: Monday to Friday, weekends only, or any combination your family prefers.

What happens in a lesson

The teacher and the student both have their video on and see each other at the side of the screen. The teacher screen-shares the page being studied, from the first lesson of the Noorani Qaida to any page of the Quran, and points to the word to read. The student reads from that page on a phone, tablet or laptop, and the teacher corrects pronunciation, joining and Tajweed as they go. On the Monday to Friday plan each lesson is 30 minutes. Power cuts and patchy internet

Load-shedding and weak connections are a real part of life in many Hyderabad neighbourhoods, and they are a fair concern for parents considering online lessons. A few simple habits help a lot. Keep a phone charged as a backup, because lessons can be joined from a phone on mobile data. Choose a lesson time that is usually outside your area's power-cut schedule. And if a lesson is interrupted anyway, send a message on WhatsApp and our team will work with you to rearrange it. With a one-to-one teacher, a short break does not mean losing your place in a group.

Your preferred language

The Quran itself is always read in Arabic, but explanations, encouragement and instructions are given in a language the student understands. When you request the trial, tell us whether the student is most comfortable in Urdu, Sindhi or English, and our team takes it into account when arranging the teacher.

Fee

Our standard plan is PKR 7,500 a month per student on the Monday to Friday plan, which gives 20 one-to-one 30-minute live classes a month, Monday to Friday. If you would like a different schedule, such as weekends, three days a week or longer lessons, the fee is discussed directly with our team. More details are on the fees page.
