Quran lessons that fit around school in Sahiwal
Sahiwal sits on the main road between Lahore and Multan, at the centre of a farming and dairy region that also takes in Chichawatni, Harappa and Kamalia, with Okara and Pakpattan close by. Education matters a great deal to families here. Children's days are often full: school in the morning, tuition in the afternoon, homework in the evening, and board exams always on the horizon. Quran lessons can easily get squeezed out, or end up as a rushed class where the teacher has no time to listen properly. Online one-to-one lessons give the Quran a proper place in the day without adding travel.
At OQC.com.pk every lesson is one-to-one. One teacher listens to one student, so the whole lesson is spent reading and correcting, and nothing is wasted waiting for others.
Fitting the Quran into a busy school day
Because we teach 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, you can place the lesson wherever your child's day has space. Thirty minutes is enough for steady progress, and short enough that it does not crowd out homework.
- Before school: a fresh mind after Fajr is ideal for reading and memorising.
- Between school and tuition: no travel, so a short gap is enough.
- After Isha: once homework is done and the house is quiet.
- Weekends: for families who prefer to keep weekdays for schoolwork.
The student chooses the days too: Monday to Friday, weekends, three days a week or any other pattern. During exam weeks, message our team to adjust the timing.
Steady, measurable progress
Parents who care about school results usually want to see progress in Quran lessons too. In a one-to-one class it is easy to follow: the teacher knows exactly which lesson of the Qaida or which page of the Quran your child has reached, which letters or rules still need work, and what comes next. You are welcome to sit in on lessons and hear it for yourself, and you can ask our team about your child's progress on WhatsApp at any time.
What happens in a lesson
Teacher and student both keep their video on and can see each other at the side of the screen. The teacher screen-shares the page being studied, a lesson from the Noorani Qaida or a page of the Quran, and points to the word to be read. The student reads aloud from the shared page on a phone, tablet or laptop, and the teacher corrects pronunciation, joining and Tajweed immediately. Our how it works page explains the setup.
Courses
- Noorani Qaida: letters, sounds and joining, for complete beginners.
- Nazra Quran: fluent, accurate reading from the Mushaf.
- Tajweed: the rules of recitation, practised verse by verse.
- Hifz: memorising selected surahs or the whole Quran.
- Islamic Studies: salah, duas, kalimas and daily basics for children.
In the free trial the teacher checks your child's level and suggests the right course. See the courses page for details.

For adults and women too
Many parents in Sahiwal decide to learn alongside their children, often early in the morning or late in the evening. Read about Quran classes for adults. Girls and women can ask for a female Quran teacher, and our page on online Quran classes for ladies explains how women fit lessons into their day. Younger children have their own guide: online Quran classes for kids.
Internet and electricity
A phone, tablet or laptop with a camera and a working connection is all you need. If home internet is weak, a phone on mobile data usually works well for a video lesson. Charge the device before the class in case of a power cut, and if a lesson is interrupted, message our team on WhatsApp to rearrange it.
The fee
Our standard plan is PKR 7,500 a month per student on the Monday to Friday plan, which gives 20 one-to-one 30-minute live classes a month, Monday to Friday. It is the same for every course and for a female or male teacher. If you want weekends only, fewer days or longer lessons, the fee is discussed directly with our team. See the fees page.
